Post 4: Doc2 and Carroll's Essay

The rhetorical context of my Doc2 is to inform/persuade students interested in aviation why they should decide to do flight. My Doc2 uses a persuasion and some imagery to promote aviation flight as a solid career choice. Gemini Highlighted the excitement, global opportunities, and financial rewards of aviation flight. There is also alot of skill development, constant learning, and it is easy to inspire future generations to decide to fly. In the book "Backpacks vs. Brieftcases," Carroll asked, "Is the rhetoric targeted at an audience who has the power to make change?" I saw that and decided to make my Gemini document reflect the people that I wanted to inform and influence to choose a career in aviation flight which are highschool and college students. Gemini did help in this blog post only because you mentioned it.

  1. Hello, Miguel. Using Gemini to your advantage will definitely help you with your essay, and with all the insight it can provide there should be no issue helping to push undeclared high school and college students. I don't doubt you will inspire the future generations to fly.

  2. I love the idea of using not only persuasion but imagery as well to help convince the reader that aviation is the best major and career choice. The imagery will definitely help inspire the reader to consider this choice and also look more into the benefits of aviation.
